James Roy and John Troy Jacobs, a pair of talented and energetic twins known in the gospel industry as national recording artist Double Portion, have spent nearly all of their 25 years worshipping God. James & John’s servitude, musical gifts, motivational speaking, business and marketing expertise has carried them across the nation impacting both young and old through their dynamic ministries. With the release of their hit single ‘I Am Somebody’ and music video aired on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), BET Video Gospel and Bobby Jones Gospel, Double Portion has uniquely combined their traditional ‘churchy’ background with new contemporary sounds to produce R&B and hip hop beats with powerful messages and testimonies.  DP is releasing this fall their instructional video, “How to create an unstoppable youth conference!”
